Five of the most unexpected TV-themed online slot games

Everyone loves TV. It’s the number one pastime activity in the world, maybe only second to eating.

If you’re reading this site then no doubt you have a special place in your heart for this modern-day art form. Yes, don’t be scared calling it an art form; if Robbie Williams calls himself an artist, then we will say it again – TV is an art form.

More than that, everyone loves eccentric TV. This is the stuff binge watching is made of. And it might come as a surprise to you, but eccentric TV shows have found another surprising outlet, except from your flat screen – slot machines.

Indeed. The most unexpected characters that usually roam around your living room are now ruling the reels of slot machines everywhere. Now if you’re thinking of those old n’ cranky slot machines of the past, you know, the ones with a handle and three reels that spin than ho ho ho – think again.

Modern day slot machines are something completely different (yes! – a Monty Python reference). So forget about that old-school mental image you have in your head, and listen to this: Little Britain has its own no-less whacked slot game.

Now after we got your attention, let’s start from the beginning. Today’s slots are called Video Slots. As such, they use super cool graphics and animation, mostly pleasant soundtracks, and offer a really engaging experience. No moving, or rolling, parts, just a smooth-operating software. It’s a cool computer game that allows you to win some money along the way. It is super easy to learn how to play online slots.

Going back to the surprising marriage of TV shows and slot games. The last TV show you’d expect to find among the spinning reels and bonus rounds is Little Britain. So if you miss Lou & Andy – has it really been 9 years already since we’ve last met? – and want to reminisce about their smaller-than-life brand of humor, well this is the chance you’ve been waiting for.

The Little Britanians are not the only ones who have made the quantum leap from the small screen to the spinning reels. Another eccentric bunch to join them are the incredibly foul-mouthed children of South Park, Colorado. This is your chance to see Stan puking (on Wendy, it must be noted) like you’ve never seen him puke before. And if you haven’t had enough of Kenny getting killed – OMG – you’ll get plenty of that too.

It should be noted, again, that all this bundle of unrelenting joy is made especially for the purpose of winning money, preferably winning big money. But, hey, no need to get greedy there, it is not all about the money; just most of it. Anyway, if you wish, check out the South Park slot game.

From here on it gets even weirder. Much less familiar in the UK, but a massive hit in the US, Judge Judy got her own slot game as well. Now for those of you who aren’t familiar with this masterpiece of court TV, do yourself a massive-er favor and fire up YouTube.

This is not a court, and Judy is no longer a Judge (she’s a retired Manhattan family court judge) but she has completed 5425 episodes on her own. Who had that spark of genius to make a slot game of a reality-court TV show we will never know, and maybe that’s for the best. But you must by now be curious to find out how it was realized and with Judy – no spoilers. You either join the ranks of Slot Spinners or you don’t. That’s up to you.

Let us venture a guess – Judge Judy had a twin sister and they were separated at birth. Who that sis might be? We think it’s Sharon Osbourne. The resemblance is almost uncanny, so it’s no surprise that the Osbournes got their own slot game as well, based on their reality show. Now ‘reality’ is a bit of stretch when it comes to the Osbournes but it worked on TV and it works real good on slots as well.

To end on a high note we’ll just mention Baywatch. Yes, a bright red slot. Pamela is there, that’s go without saying, and The Hoff too. This is indeed the least eccentric and kind of a predictable choice to transform a TV show to a slot game, but it brings up such glorious memories of the 90’s, we just couldn’t help it.
