Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: full trailer and new poster released

Posted Filed under

After giving us a deliciously creepy poster, spooky character images and a spine-tingling teaser trailer, Netflix have now given viewers a fuller look at Chilling Adventures of Sabrina in the form of an extended trailer…

That trailer, which gleefully mixes the camp and the gothic à la the series’ big brother Riverdale, looks something like this…

Oh, and Netflix also dropped a brand new poster.

Our individual looks at Chilling Adventures of Sabrina‘s motley bunch of characters goes as follows…

First up there’s former Doctor Who baddie Michelle Gomez as Mary Wardwell, Sabrina’s mentor and teacher who just so happens to be under the possession of Madam Satan. Using Sabrina’s affection for her teacher, Madam Satan attempts to lure Sabrina to the dark side..

Then there’s My Friend Dahmer star Ross Lynch as Sabrina’s boyfriend, Harvey Kinkle. Netflix have teased that Harvey is quite the gentleman and he’s blissfully unaware of Sabrina’s magical capabilities…

Sabrina’s aunts, Hilda and Zelda (as played by Lucy Davis and Miranda Otto) care for their niece deeply but they’re salt and pepper characters, with Hilda offering a lighter side and Zelda adhering more strictly to the Dark Lord..

Father Blackwood (played by Richard Coyle), seen here looking particularly evil, is High Priest of the Church of Night and he very much comes into conflict with Sabrina…

Blackwood is responsible for the Academy of Unseen Arts and, consequently, The Weird Sisters – Agatha (Adeline Rudolph), Prudence (Tati Gabrielle), and Dorcas (Abigail Cowen)…

Offering up a bit of LGBTQ+ representation is Chance Perdomo who plays Sabrina’s sly pansexual cousin (and warlock) from England, Ambrose Spellman, and Nicholas Scratch (Gavin Leatherwood), a new schoolmate of Sabrina’s who follows her father’s teachings.

Finally, there’s Sabrina’s best buddies, Rosalind (Jaz Sinclair) and Susie (Lachlan Watson). Rosalind’s the strong-minded daughter of Greendale’s minister while Susie is perfect for Sabrina’s fight against dark forces and school bullies…

Then there’s the original poster below.

Whilst here’s the teaser trailer in full:

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina bows on Netflix in full on October 26th.
