Amongst the many standouts of this year’s Doctor Who Christmas special, Twice Upon A Time, was Mark Gatiss’ wonderful work in front of the camera as the Captain.

Gatiss gave a wonderfully understated performance, and while on set making the episode, he made a small video diary that the BBC has now made available. It’s best not to watch this if you haven’t seen the episode yet. But if you have, here’s Mr Gatiss’ handiwork…
