Written by executive producer Steven Moffat, the 60-minute festive special is titled The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe and will air at 7pm on Sunday 25th December.

Guest stars include Outnumbered‘s Claire Skinner, comedian Bill Bailey, Arabella Weir (The Fast Show) and Alexander Armstrong (Armstrong & Miller).
