The one-minute promo aired for the first time on BBC One last night and features seven seconds of footage from the remaining episodes of Series 6, including a glimpse of James Corden’s return as Craig Owens, last seen in Gareth Roberts’ Series 5 story ‘The Lodger’.

Filming on Series 6 was completed last week and the show will return with ‘Let’s Kill Hitler’ in the autumn.

The trailer also includes several scenes from Series 4 of Merlin.
