BBC One’s recent adaptation of Death Comes To Pemberley will be released on DVD next month.
Adapted by Juliette Towhidi (Calendar Girls) from P.D James’ novel, the three-part drama series aired over Christmas and starred Anna Maxwell Martin (The Bletchley Circle) as Elizabeth Bennett, Matthew Rhys (Brothers and Sisters) as Fitzwilliam Darcy, Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) as Lydia Wickham and Matthew Goode (Dancing on the Edge) as George Wickham.
A special boxset including Death Comes To Pemberley and Andrew Davies’ classic BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle, is also released on Monday 10 February. Extras include: ‘From Page to Screen: The Making of Pride and Prejudice’, ‘Pride and Prejudice: A Turning Point for Period Drama’, ‘Restoration Featurette’.
