Game Of Thrones alumni will return for special reunion interview

The cast of Game Of Thrones, including people whose characters have died in the show, will return for a reunion special. However, this tantalising chat will not air on TV.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the Game Of Thrones reunion special was shot in Belfast earlier in 2018, with the iconic talk show host Conan O’Brien hosting it. And one particularly exciting name was mentioned as taking part: apparently, Sean Bean was there, despite Ned Stark having being separated from his head way back in season 1.

But if you fancy watching this exciting interview special, with all your favourite stars chatting about the iconic show, you won’t be able to watch it on HBO or Sky Atlantic.

That’s because, according to EW’s report, the special will only be available on the brand new Game Of Thrones complete series 1-8 box set that will be released on home viewing formats after season 8’s initial broadcast next year.

Given that Game Of Thrones season 8 won’t premiere on our tellies until April 2019, and it will take six weeks to run its course, we shouldn’t expect to be able to buy this box set until next summer at the earliest.

As we hear more Thrones news, though, we’ll be sure to let you know.
