Starring the Luther actor as a young Liverpool response cop, the four-part series aired on BBC One last summer and was written by Stephen Butchard (Five Daughters).
Brown tweeted earlier this week: “Good Cop S2 is not happening I’m afraid.”
The third series of Luther will begin on BBC One later this year.
