Good Omens: BBC finally sets air date

The move comes nine months after the series started streaming on Amazon Prime Video…

Good Omens originally launched on May 31st on Amazon Prime, who made all the episodes globally available for streaming. A televised broadcast on BBC Two was supposed to quickly follow for UK terrestrial viewers, but it never seemed to materialise …until now – the Beeb has confirmed that it will start airing the series next month.

The adaptation of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s novel certainly packs a lot of star power. As well as boasting David Tennant and Michael Sheen as its stars, the show also has Jon Hamm, Nick Offerman, Jack Whitehall, Miranda Richardson, Adria Arjona, Michael McKean, Anna Maxwell Martin and Mireille Enos in supporting roles. And, on top of that, Frances McDormand voices God, and Benedict Cumberbatch does the voice of Satan.

If you’ve not caught it yet on Amazon and are still very intrigued by all that talent and the terrific reviews Good Omens received when it first arrived, be sure to check it out from January 15, 2020 on BBC Two.

Here’s a trailer for you….
