British actress McCrory guest starred as Rosanna Calvierri in last year’s Doctor Who episode, The Vampires of Venice, and played Narcissa Malfoy in the final three Harry Potter movies.

Rapace, ex-husband of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo actress Noomi Rapace, is best known in his native Sweden for his role in the TV series Tusenbröder.

James Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli presented Skyfall’s cast in London last week, including Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Naomie Harris and Bérénice Marlohe.

Set for release in UK cinemas on 26th October next year, the film will be directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty) and stars Daniel Craig in the role of 007 for a third time.

Update: Helen McCrory will be playing a British Member Of Parliament called Clair Dowar.
