Lester, who plays Mickey Bricks in the show, commented on Twitter today that the new series “should be on screens [in January] 2012”, asking fans: “How should we end it….?”.

Mickey Bricks is one of Hustle‘s three remaining original characters, although Lester did not appear in 2007’s Series 4.

The actor also confirmed that Series 8 will once again be shot in Birmingham and will feature the same cast as Series 5-7.
