James Corden ‘can’t wait to go back’ to ‘Doctor Who’

James Corden has revealed that he is “over the moon” about his upcoming return to Doctor Who for an episode in Series 6.

It was confirmed last week that the Gavin And Stacey star will be reprising his role of Craig Owens, first seen in Series 5’s ‘The Lodger’.

Speaking on the set Sky1’s sports quiz A League Of Their Own, AOL report Corden commenting: “I can’t wait to go back. I finish here on Wednesday and go straight to Cardiff on Thursday morning to start filming.”

He added: “I’m amazed and over the moon Steven [Moffat] asked me back. There was a fans’ poll of the last series and the episode, ‘The Lodger’, did really well. I’m just going back for the one episode.”
