Torchwood star John Barrowman has revealed that he still fully expects to return to Doctor Who at some point.

Speaking to Ipswich Star to promote his first full UK tour in four years, Barrowman commented: “The popularity of Captain Jack has not decreased around the world, it’s actually gotten stronger and we’re doing some audio plays that are coming out a little later this year.”

Last month marked 10 years since the Glasgow-born actor made his Doctor Who debut in Steven Moffat’s ‘The Empty Child’.
