As had been rumoured, Idris Elba is set to return for more episodes of Luther in 2018, with series 5 of the show edging closer to production.
In a new interview with Deadline, the show’s creator and writer Neil Cross has now confirmed that the final script for the new episodes of the show has now been completed. Furthermore, production on the new series is set to begin in January, and it’s expected that the show will be on our screens before the end of 2018.
Cross has also held the door open for a feature film take on Luther too, although there’s nothing substantive on that at the moment. We’ll keep you posted….
