BAFTA Television Awards 2012 nominees announced

Posted Filed under

2012’s most nominated programme is ITV1’s Appropriate Adult, with four nominations for Leading Actor, Leading Actress, Supporting Actress and Mini Series. BBC One’s Sherlock and Channel 4’s This is England ‘88 tie for the second spot with three nominations each.

Last year’s BAFTA winner Martin Freeman is nominated again in the Supporting Actor category, this year up against Sherlock co-star Andrew Scott, receiving his first BAFTA nomination as Moriarty.

The Drama Series category sees previous winners Misfits and Spooks up against each other, alongside ITV1’s Scott and Bailey and BBC Three’s recenty-axed The Fades.

Hosted by Dara O’Briain, the Awards will take place on Sunday 27th May at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
