BBC Worldwide has announced that an official Doctor Who 50th Celebration Weekend will be held later this year.

The special three-day event will take place at ExCeL in London across the anniversary weekend beginning on Friday 22 November, with tickets for over 15,000 fans.

Further details – including guests, itinerary, ticket prices and booking information – will be unveiled soon.

This year long celebration is an opportunity for fans around the world to come together and celebrate the glorious past, present and future of Doctor Who.”

Series 7 Part 2 begins on Saturday 30 March on BBC One and BBC America with Steven Moffat’s ‘The Bells of St John’.
