‘Spooks’ star still misses Hermione Norris ‘very much’

Spooks star Peter Firth, who plays Harry Pearce in the BBC One spy drama, has described the departure of former cast member Hermione Norris as “a big loss for all of us”.

Currently appearing in space drama Outcasts, Norris played Chief of Section D Ros Myers between 2006 and 2008.

Interviewed to promote today’s Series 9 DVD release, Firth commented: “Well, Hermione’s gone, which is a big loss for all of us – largely because she great to have around in case there was any trouble, she could sort them out! She was with us for four years and I miss her very much – I miss her and her character.”

Spooks will return for a tenth series this Autumn.
