New details have been revealed about the fourth episode of the new season of Doctor Who.

Written by Doctor Foster creator Mike Bartlett, ‘Knock Knock’ features Poirot star David Suchet at the Landlord.

A “special binaural audio edition” of the episode will be available on BBC iPlayer following its broadcast on BBC One on Saturday 6 May.

The unique audio track will create “a 3D surround sound effect for anyone wearing headphones, placing them at the heart of the action in this nail-biting episode.”

The official synopsis for ‘Knock Knock’ reads: “Bill is moving in with some friends and they’ve found the perfect house – so what if it’s strangely cheap to rent, and the landlord is a little creepy?

“The wind blows, the floorboards creak, and the Doctor thinks something is very wrong. What lurks in the strange tower at the heart of the building – and why can’t they find any way to enter it?”

Season 10 continues at 7.20pm this Saturday on BBC One with ‘Smile’.
