‘The Living And The Dead’ writer gives Season 2 update

The creator of BBC One’s The Living And The Dead has provided an update on the possibility of a second season.

Starring Colin Morgan (Merlin, Humans) and Charlotte Spencer (Glue), all six episodes of  the supernatural drama debuted on BBC iPlayer last month and are currently airing on Tuesday nights on BBC One.

Asked on Twitter if there the show will be returning for more episodes, following Season 1’s dramatic cliffhanger, writer Ashley Pharoah responded: “Not sure. Will sit down with the BBC in a month or so to discuss.”

He added: “It’ll be their decision in the end.”

      “Time warp tosh”, as you call it, was present from the start. Remember the contrail in the very first episode, seen by the Colin Morgan character from the churchyard?
