Jack Dee’s new sitcom confirmed for primetime slot this month

The pen of Jack Dee has been busy as, along with Pete Sinclair, he’s written a new sitcom by the name of Bad Move.

Dee also stars in the show, alongside Kerry Godliman, Miles Jupp and Seann Walsh. Six 30 minute episodes have been recorded, and ITV1 has now confirmed they’re getting a prime time slot later this month.

The show will start on Wednesday 20th September at 8pm, and the first episode will be called ‘Dead Zone’. Here’s the synopsis for it…

Nicky and Steve have left behind their old life in Leeds and moved to their dream house in the country.  But the dream is rapidly turning into a nightmare, especially for Steve, whose business as a website designer faces a slight problem – they can’t get their internet connected.  When Nicky finds some gardening work in the village, she hopes it will tide them over – but she’s in for a shock.  The couple’s mood isn’t helped by their gloating neighbours Matt and Meena, whose home grown produce is going from strength to strength.  On top of all that, they have to contend with Grizzo the locally based rock star who has a hyperactive approach to country living.

There you go. You can found out if it’s any good or not next week…
