Weekend ratings round-up: ‘Foyle’s War’ recruits 6.7m viewers on its return

The Cold War setting did nothing to put a freeze on the ratings of Foyle’s War on Sunday night as 6.7m (26.3%) viewers tuned in for the latest investigations of Michael Kitchen’s cerebral cop.

The BBC had similarly good news as Lacey Turner’s one-off drama Our Girl attracted 5.3m (21.7%) viewers on the same night. Disappointingly, however, BBC Three drama In The Flesh shed viewers as Episode 2 only attracted 392k (2%) zombie lovers.

Channel 5 had a fairly successful weekend as US imports The Mentalist (1.2m, 4.8%), Law and Order: SVU (961k, 4.6%) and Person of Interest (715k, 3.5%) continued to perform consistently.

All data was supplied by Attentional, Digital Spy and The Guardian.
