Sky has announced that the new seasons of US dramas Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS: Los Angeles will begin in the UK later this month.
Season 4 of Hawaii Five-0 begins at 9pm on Sunday 19 January on Sky1.
In the opening episode, McGarrett and Wo Fat narrowly escape from the prison, but the NLM gunmen aren’t far behind. Storming the Five-0 headquarters and taking everyone inside hostage, the terrorists – including guest star Henry Ian Cusick (Lost) – pin down the location of Kono and Adam’s safe house to sell to the Yakuza, before grabbing something important to McGarrett: girlfriend Catherine. Light is also shed on Doris’s relationship with Wo Fat and, in turn, his increasingly interesting one with McGarrett. Plus, keep an eye out for TV veteran Chi McBride (Boston Public), who is set to cause a stir as SWAT Captain Lou Grover, a character that first appeared in the original series.
Season 5 of NCIS: Los Angeles begins at 10pm on Sunday 19 January on Sky1.
Picking up where last season’s finale left off, sees the team come to the aid of Sam and Deeks, mercilessly tortured by Sidorov for intel on an undercover Michelle – if Deeks didn’t have dentistryrelated fears before, he sure does now. Then there’s the pretty sizeable problem of the missing nukes that needs to be resolved. Callen tracks down Janvier, the terrorist equivalent of a bad smell that just won’t go away, and, despite putting him behind bars, the agent can’t shake the feeling that his foe is going to waft around for a while yet.
