UK release date for ‘SPECTRE’ moves forward

The upcoming 24th James Bond movie will now arrive in UK cinemas sooner than previously announced.

Directed by Skyfall‘s Sam Mendes, SPECTRE sees Daniel Craig return as 007 for the fourth time.

The World Premiere will take place in London on Monday 26 October and, for the first time ever, the movie will open on the same night at cinemas across the UK and Ireland.

SPECTRE will be released in the US on 6 November.

The official synopsis for the film reads: “A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.”

Alongside returning regulars Ralph Fiennes (M), Ben Whishaw (Q), Naomie Harris (Miss Moneypenny) and Rory Kinnear (Tanner), new cast members include Monica Belluci, Lea Seydoux, Dave Bautista, Christoph Waltz and Sherlock star Andrew Scott.
