Brian Blessed returns for the 300th episode of Peppa Pig.
Well, crikey. Peppa Pig remains the juggernaut that shows no sign of stopping, and now comes the news that the 300th episode of the show has just been made.
The news was broken by James Butler on his Twitter account. He does animation layout and rigging for the show, and he’s revealed too that the 300th episode will feature Brian Blessed in a Grampy Rabbit story.
He previously noted that the episode count has crept above long-running staples such as Friends and Last Of The Summer Wine!
Furthermore, there’s a lot more Peppa to come. A fresh collection of episodes is being unleashed into cinemas over the school Easter holiday, the third time parent company Entertainment One has brought Peppa and her chums to the big screen in the UK.
Congratulations to all concerned with Peppa Pig, then, and she’s showing little signs of stopping.
