Channel 4 have announced when they’re going to air The First, a new series about the human colonisation of Mars, which stars Sean Penn and Natascha McElhone.
The sci-fi drama is created by ex-House of Cards showrunner Beau Willimon and follows “the first human mission to Mars, while exploring the challenges of taking the first steps toward interplanetary colonization. The story focuses not only on the astronauts, but also on their families and loved ones, as well as the ground team on Earth.”
It’s been airing on Hulu in the US for a few weeks now but Channel 4 nabbed UK airing rights and we now know when we’ll get to see it.
The First starts on Thursday 1st November at 9pm.
