Requiem, the upcoming supernatural drama from BBC One, will finally arrive this weekend and the channel has released two new clips to whet our appetites.

Protagonist Matilda Gray is a successful cellish about to embark on a concert tour of New York before her work is turned upside when her mother inexplicably commits suicide. Grief stricken, Matilda finds a box of items on her deceased mother’s bed relating to Carys Howell, a young girl who went missing from a small Welsh village over 20 years ago.

Matilda and her accompanist Hal travel to Penllynith to investigate whether her mother’s death is related to the disappearance.

The clips, which see Matilda discovering the mysterious box and meeting Carys’ mother, can be found over at Digital Spy.

The show is the latest to be released in full on iPlayer following its broadcast premiere, with all six episodes later becoming available on Netflix. Watch the trailer below:
