Claire Skinner (Outnumbered), Clare Higgins (The Syndicate), Nicola Stephenson (Strike Back) and Antonia Thomas (Misfits) will star as the wives and girlfriends of soldiers serving in war torn Afghanistan.

The six-part series is created by Sue Teddern (Birds Of A Feather) and written with Jan McVerry (Coronation Street) and Joe Turner (Robin Hood).
