It’s time for the girls to get their geek on: since Doctor Who returned to our screens in 2005, only one woman has written for the series: Helen Raynor, who gave us ‘Evolution Of The Daleks’ and ‘The Sontaran Stratagem’. With such a wealth of creative women in this country, it seems an imbalance that can be easily corrected.
