The series follows the fallout from murder most foul in a small Scottish town…
A new series starring former Doctor Who David Tennant is heading to Channel 4 in 2020. Tennant starts opposite Cush Jumbo (Vera) in Deadwater Fell, a four-part drama created by Granchester‘s Daisy Coulam that filmed in Scotland over the summer. The series will focus on the lives of several inhabitants of a town called Kirkdarroch, after tragic events befall an idyllic family unit.
Here’s the first trailer…
“When a seemingly perfect and happy family is murdered by someone they know and trust, the small Scottish community they call home becomes riven with mistrust and suspicion as those closest to the family begin to question everything they thought they knew about their friends.”
Anna Madeley (The Crown) and Matthew McNulty (The Terror) also star.
There’s no exact air date for the series yet, but we’ll update you when Channel 4 releases that information.
