Harley Quinn animated series trailer reveals R-rated fun

Fresh from San Diego Comic Con, the first trailer for DC’s Harley Quinn animated series has been doing the rounds online. You can take a look at the series, which looks really quirky and grown-up, right here…

Kaley Cuoco voices Harley in the show, with Alan Tudyk lending his vocal chords to the Jokes. Giancarlo Esposito, Lake Bell, Wanda Sykes, Christopher Meloni and Tony Hale also appear in the voice cast.

Here it is, then, the first trailer for Harley Quinn…

And here’s a slightly shorter teaser from late last year…
The series looks like a lot of fun, doesn’t it? The anarchic sense of humour and the bright colour palette draw to mind the likes of Adult Swim’s Rick And Morty, and we’re sure that everyone at DC would love to see this show get as big as that one.

After all, it’s about time that Harley Quinn had another moment in the spotlight. It’s been three years since the Suicide Squad movie came out, and we’ve still got a while to wait for the Margot Robbie-starring Birds Of Prey movie.

In the meantime, this animated series could well be a total hoot. It’ll air on the DC Universe streaming service in the USA, starting in October. And we’ll bring you the UK broadcast details as soon as we can.
