You is coming back to Netflix with a full Christmas stalking…
Netflix has revealed that You will return for its second season on the streaming service on 26th December. The first season was a savvy pickup from Lifetime that did gangbusters on Netflix, so they took over funding on season 2 earlier this year when Lifetime decided not to pursue extending the series further.
In season 2 of the controversial thriller show, Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) moves to LA to get a fresh start, after murdering his girlfriend Guinevere Beck back in New York, and falls for chef Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti). It doesn’t look like things with the Haunting Of Hill House star’s character will work out much better, mind.
Check out the first trailer below…
“There are some things I’ve done with prosthetic bodies in this [new] season that were kind of nauseating as I did them, I will say that,” Badgley admitted, adding “I’m really excited for people to get to know Love. She adds a dimension that hasn’t existed yet. There’s a side to Joe that we haven’t seen yet because her character, in some ways, is the polar opposite of Beck.”
