A talent-packed action-thriller is making its way to Cannes and is causing a stir ahead of hitting the market for distribution, here’s what we know about it so far:

‘Tis the season for juicy new projects in the movie world to get snapped up early at Cannes festival before they hit theatres and streaming later on this year. Before the champagne flows and red carpets are walked out, Complex, Texas is catching attention with it’s high-adrenaline appeal and packed cast.

What’s it about?

This feature film follows the story of what seems like a simple robbery carried out by three rookies. However, things seem to take a bit of a turn when it’s realised that they’ve unintentionally pulled off one of the biggest heists of all time. With a new, unexpected burden to the tune of $300 million, the team decide to hide out where they expect nobody to find them, a decrepit town in Texas. Unfortunately, the desperate townspeople smell blood in the water and the robbers soon find out that they’re now guarding life-changing money against an entire town with nothing to lose. When all hell breaks loose, the ghost town becomes a battlefield as our leads fight to make it out alive, and to make all their effort worth it.

Complex, Texas stars Kevin Dillon (Entourage),  Cam Gigandet (Twilight), Danielle Vasinova (The Madison), Kelly Lynn Reiter (Deadlock), Brian Austin Green (Beverly Hills 90210) and Nick Swardson (Just Go with It).

When’s it out?

The project has already been picked up for sales by VMI, with no official screening or streaming dates confirmed as of yet.
