Anyone who remembers his 70-odd episode turn as Matt Taylor in 80s series Triangle may be forgiven for thinking actor Larry Lamb would never want to go to sea again.

Yet, thanks to Thomson Cruises, the Eastenders and I’m A Celebrity star has rediscovered his love for life on the ocean, aboard the cruise ship Discovery II.

That’s probably because, as Larry’s new YouTube series Cruise Mates explains, a cruise holiday is not all about what you do while you’re at sea. It’s as much, if not more, about where the cruise takes you, the people you can meet, and the fantastic things you can see when you step ashore.

The video below shows Larry stopping off in beautiful Barcelona, and showcases just a few of the things you could be experiencing if you wanted to do the same.
