From the creator of Power comes a brand-new star-studded series coming to Netflix next month, here’s what we know about it so far:

Power shows that Courtney A Kemp is no stranger to creating a world full of tension, treachery and complexity – now she’s spearheading a brand-new series coming to Netflix soon, the first in a brand-new partnership between the two. Details about the extremely talented cast and intriguing plot have been released ahead of the official air date.

What’s it about?

Nemesis follows the story of two men who find themselves on opposite sides of the law, a professional criminal faces off with a seasoned detective. Taking place in Los Angeles, our sharp-minded detective has fallen into the clutches of obsession with finding the heist team responsible for the death of his partner. He follows his mind and his instincts to the doorstep of his counterpart, a successful thief who is planning one final job to set him up for the rest of his life before retiring. The two cross paths and play a game of cat-and-mouse, except neither one is sure who is truly chasing who.

Who’s in it?

The cast list is densely packed with talent, it includes Matthew Law (Abbott Elementary), Y’lan Noel (Lady in the Lake), Cleopatra Coleman (Black Rabbit), Tre Hale (All American), Domenick Lombardozzi (The Wire), Jonnie “Dumbfoundead” Park (Quiz Lady), Ariana Guerra (CSI: Vegas, Helstrom), Gabrielle Dennis (The Big Door Prize), Michael Potts (The Piano Lesson), Sophina Brown (Twenties) and many more.
