It was on Sky in 2020, now A Boy Called Christmas gets a wider audience as it comes to Netflix this November
If you were a Sky subscriber in 2020, you will have already had then chance to watch A Boy Called Christmas, but for many this is the first chance to see the adaptation of Matt Haig’s book.
Netflix has released its own trailer, and a hand guide to the film:
An ordinary young boy called Nikolas sets out on an extraordinary adventure into the snowy north in search of his father who is on a quest to discover the fabled village of the elves, Elfhelm. Taking with him a headstrong reindeer called Blitzen and a loyal pet mouse, Nikolas soon meets his destiny in this magical, comic and endearing story that proves nothing is impossible.
The film stars Henry Lawfull, Toby Jones, Sally Hawkins, Kristen Wiig, Michiel Huisman, Zoe Colletti, Stephen Merchant (voice), Joel Fry, Rune Temte, Jim Broadbent and Maggie Smith.
It appears on Netflix on November 24 and is part of this year’s Here for the Holidays slate.
