The (sometimes) dynamic duo will be making their way back to our screen for a third series, here’s everything the latest on Black Ops:
We’ve seen them take on clandestine drug operations and face off against members of hidden conspiracies, now the recent announcement confirms that we’ll be seeing more of our favourite ex-PCSOs. Some details about what to expect to see have been revealed with the recent confirmation.
What will series 3 of Black Ops be about?
The latest caper involves our leading pair being tasked with investigating and taking down an elusive far-right terrorist organisation. Their lead is a museum director believed to be selling the artefacts to fund the group, this mission is Dom and Kay’s first assignment from MI5. Dom’s put in the lead, with Kay joining alongside her as her “asset”, however this asset might not yield any good fortune as a figure from Kay’s past reappears at the worst possible time. As if this isn’t enough, the duo are thrown into the alien world of the hyper-wealthy, as the mission leads them to navigate the super-shady and well-funded crowd that is billionaires.
Who’s behind it?
Not much information has been given about who will be writing and directing the new series, with Gbemisola Ikumelo (Famalam), Akemnji Ndifornyen (Famalam), Joe Tucker (Chernobyl) and Lloyd Woolf (The Double) only being listed under their current credit as creators of the show.
