An untitled project has been announced from Charlie Brooker for Netflix. Here’s the details we have so far:

It’s been confirmed that Charlie Brooker is working on a four-part detective crime series, currently in production. The mind behind Black MirrorScreenwipe and Cunk working on a new project has stirred excitement from long-time fans.

What’s it about?

The story is set to take place against the backdrop of London, where a tormented detective from the city of Bleakford travels down from the north to investigate a series of murders. The detective is set on a mission to stop the ritualistic serial killer before they run out of victims. The released logline also mentions that the series will contain “blood and frowning” in Brooker’s trademark dry humour.

Who’s in it?

Paddy Considine (House of the Dragon), Georgina Campbell (Barbarian) and Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) have been confirmed as cast so far.

Who’s behind it?

Brooker has written the series with Ben Caudell (Cunk on Life), Jason Hazeley (Cunk on Life), Emer Kenny (Eric and Ernie), Daniel Maier (Screenwipe) and Joel Morris (Cunk on Life), with additional material by Victoria Asare Archer (Death in Paradise). Brooker will be an executive producer alongside Jessica Rhoades (Station Eleven) and Annabel Jones (Black Mirror), with Mark Kinsella (Black Mirror) as co-executive producer and Richard Webb (The Curse) as producer. Al Campbell (Inside No.9) has been announced as director.
