What’s Drifter about?

The story takes place in a sleepy town in the midwest of America, an interim police chief is doing the most she can to prove her worthiness and inherit her deceased father’s badge. One of the victims of her determination is a mysterious drifter with an indecipherable past. His arrest sets in motion a flurry of chaos which puts her in the position of being held captive in her own station, at the other end of guns behind held by people posing as FBI agents. She realises there’s more to this stranger than she thought, and he might just be her ticket to freedom.
