Dutton Ranch renewed — what do we know

As the press release says, no plot details are available for season 2. It is remarkable the renewal comes one month after the original series premiered. Dutton Ranch drew 12.9 million viewers globally in the seven days following its debut, making it the biggest original series launch in Paramount+ history.

The show stars Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, and follows their beloved characters, Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, as they build a future together in South Texas. Season 1 launched on Friday, May 15, 2026. The renewal confirms that fans of the Dutton family saga will see more of Beth and Rip following the season 1 finale, which streams Friday, July 3.

Unfortunately, that’s all we have at this time. We expect season 2 to arrive somewhere around the middle of 2027. We will keep you posted.
