Guest stars and plot developments are teased in new pictures in the second season of the comedy series from the North of Ireland, here’s everything we know so far:
Heavy themes are tackled with a unique coat of Irish humour in Funboys, with the first series’ storyline tackling grief, being a bastard and suppositories and the new series joining the gang in Ballymacnoose as they have come out the other side. First Look images give us hints as to what to expect, as well as who to expect.
What’s it about?
After the shenanigans of the first series, we rejoin our cast of characters as they short a brand-new perm, develop their romances and experience a life without tantrums. However, there’s new obstacles awaiting the group as they make the move to get more involved in Irish history. The issues on the horizon include taking on bigotry, balding, and let’s not forget competitive robot combat! How will the softness of our band of brand-new historians fare in the face of the scars of the past? Will somebody’s scalp cling onto its hair in the face of adulthood?
