The BBC has released the first promotional image of Dominic West and Helena Bonham Carter as movie stars Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor in one-off drama Burton and Taylor.

BBC Four’s upcoming 90-minute single drama is written by William Ivory (Women In Love, Bert & Dickie).

West (The Hour) and Bonham Carter (Great Expectations) will play the volatile ex-lovers in the story of their ill-fated appearance in a 1983 revival of Noel Coward’s stage play, Private Lives.
