Channel 4 has released a set of promotional photos for The Returned, a French horror-drama series beginning in June.

Loosely based on the 2004 film Les Revenants, the eight-part series tells the story of a handful of individuals returning to their Alpine hometown in a state of confusion – only to discover that they have been dead for several years.

Channel was confirmed to CultBox that the series will be shown in its original French language with English subtitles and will not be dubbed.
