New promotional artwork for the upcoming fifth series of BBC One’s fantasy drama Merlin has been unveiled.

The image, which has the tagline ‘The Die Is Cast’ and features Merlin (Colin Morgan), Arthur (Bradley James), Gwen (Angel Coulby), Gaius (Richard Wilson), and Morgana (Katie McGrath), made its debut at San Diego Comic-Con, before being posted on the show’s official Twitter feed.

A new Merlin YouTube channel, featuring exclusive cast interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and a trailer comprising footage of the previous four seasons, was also launched at the convention.

Series 5 is expected to air on BBC One this autumn.
