New promotional photos for Our Girl show the army drama’s new cast pictured together in the upcoming second season.

The new season starts at 9pm on Wednesday 7 September on BBC One, with Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan replacing former lead Lacey Turner.

Alongside returning star Ben Aldridge as Captain James, the revamped cast includes Luke Pasqualino (The Musketeers) as maverick Special Forces officer Elvis Harte, Royce Pierreson (Murdered By My Boyfriend) as Dr Jamie Cole, Rolan Bell (Doctors) as Sergeant King, Sean Sagar (Top Boy) as Monk and Anthony Oseyemi (Behind Enemy Lines) as the Kenyan forces’ Captain Osman.

With tours of Afghan and West Africa under her belt, our new medic Georgie Lane (Keegan) now has to deal with the fraught, perilous and ever-changing situation in East Africa in five new episodes of the army drama.
