Espionage is back and rumours around the production have begun to swirl, here’s the latest information we have on the reboot of Get Smart:

The classic 60’s series is currently in very early development for a fresh new take on the original spy tales from Mel Brooks and Buck Henry. The latest release of information recaps what’s going on with the production so far.

What’s Get Smart about?

Based on the work of the same title from the 60’s, little is known about the new take on the property, but a look back suggests what folks might see should production continue. Seth Grahame-Smith (Now You See Me: Now You Don’t) is writing the feature script for this new project, based upon the genre of spy parody inspired by the classic Bond franchise.

Who’s in it?

Due to the project still being in production germination, there’s not confirmations on cast as of yet. However, there’s talks of John Mulaney (Saturday Night Live) being in talks to star in the reboot.
