The BBC has dropped a trailer for Gifted, a new action adventure series for CBBC coming next week
BBC Children’s & Education has unveiled the first trailer for Gifted, a brand-new action-adventure series launching on CBBC and BBC iPlayer on Monday 24 November. Note, this is not to be confused with the X-Men set series The Gifted.
What is Gifted about
Adapted from Marilyn Kaye’s bestselling novels by award-winning screenwriter Emma Reeves (The Worst Witch, Eve), the show transports viewers to the stunning city of Edinburgh, where a diverse group of Scottish teens discover they each possess extraordinary superpowers — from telekinesis and invisibility to mind reading.
Starring Dominic McLaughlin, the young Scottish actor set to play Harry Potter in HBO’s upcoming television adaptation, the series is set to introduce an exciting new generation of talent to our screens. The trailer offers a first glimpse of the high-stakes adventures awaiting the young heroes as they navigate friendship, secrets, and a mysterious threat lurking beneath Edinburgh’s historic streets.
