Guilt series 2 - Mark Bonnar

Guilt series 2 — first look image and trailer released for returning drama

The BBC has released a first look image for Guilt series 2

The BBC press release has very little information as to what we can expect in Guilt series 2:

Award-winning drama Guilt returns soon for a new four-part series full of twists, turns and deception…

It does, at least, confirm some casting: Mark Bonnar as Max McCall, Sara Vickers as Erin, Stuart Bowman as Roy Lynch and Emun Elliot as Kenny. Also starring Phyllis Logan, Greg McHugh, Sandy McDade, Henry Pettigrew, Rochelle Neil and Robin Laing. It also reminds us that it is written by Neil Forsyth.

Luckily we’ve also found a trailer on the BBC Scotland YouTube channel, which gives a little more sense of what’s to come. It also says the series is coming soon to iPlayer. If you didn’t catch series 1, it’s still on iPlayer and worth a look. As a reminder, series 1 was about:

Two brothers seem to get away with a crime — but soon discover they can trust no-one, including each other, in a pitch-black, contemporary thriller.

It’s unlike the BBC to be so brief in a press release, so we assume there may be more to come. As ever, we’ll keep you posted.
