Apple TV has renewed dark comedy thriller Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed for a second season

What do we know about season 2 of Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed

The Apple TV press release has little to say about actual content nor does it remind us of how season 1 ended. Created by David J Rosen, we do get a reprise for the setup:

…newly divorced mom Paula (Maslany) falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth soccer. Convinced she witnessed a crime — while simultaneously struggling through a custody battle and an identity crisis — Paula begins her own investigation, one that could unravel a greater conspiracy while also holding the keys to rebuilding her family and sense of self.

The cast for season 1 also included Murray Bartlett, Dolly De Leon, Brandon Flynn, Jessy Hodges, Jon Michael Hill, Charlie Hall, Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg and Nola Wallace. No word on who might return. We’ll keep you posted. Until then, don’t forget to give season 1 a try if you haven’t already.
