Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour will star in and EP an untitled espionage series for Netflix

The series is being written by Jack Thorne (Adolescence).

What we know about the new espionage series

From the press release we learn the A24 produced series has a direct to series order, with Brown, Harbour and Thorne all acting as Executive Producers. Here’s what we have for storyline:

In the series, disgraced FBI agent turned security expert Matt Wolfe (Harbour) is drawn back into the world he left behind when his estranged daughter, Rebecca (Brown) — now an FBI agent determined to follow in his footsteps — vanishes on a mission, forcing him to return to a field that has evolved beyond him.

Fans of Stranger Things should need no reminding of the parts Brown and Harbour played there, while Thorne wrote the first two Enola Holmes films, as well as the third (out next month) in which Brown stars. Deadline reports the film is loosely based on Paul Warner’s debut novel A Spy In the Blood.
