Netflix has revealed details for new locations the Straw Hats will visit in ONE PIECE season 2
Not only do we have location details for ONE PIECE season 2, sadly not released until next year, but the Netflix article also has several images as well, including the one used above.
Upcoming episodes find the fearless fivesome sailing for the Grand Line, a “legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn,” according to the official synopsis. As they “journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.”
If you’ve not watched yet, you need to know the show follows a daring young pirate named Monkey D Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) as he sails the seas with his Straw Hats crew: swordsman Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu), cartographer Nami (Emily Rudd), storyteller Usopp (Jacob Romero), and chef Sanji (Taz Skylar). Luffy dreams of becoming the King of the Pirates by finding infamous pirate Gold Roger’s mysterious treasure, the One Piece.
Just what are those new locations?

Laboon
That’s no mountain … It’s a whale! A massive Island Whale to be exact. Native to the West Blue, Laboon is highly intelligent and bears many scars from repeatedly ramming into Reverse Mountain. He may be huge, but don’t let his imposing stature scare you. This unique sea creature is as friendly as he is big, and can even understand human dialogue.
Loguetown
It’s the town of the beginning and the end. This bustling city is known as the site of the execution of the famous pirate king Gold Roger (Michael Dorman). At the heart of the city is the execution platform, where Roger was sentenced to death back in the Season 1 premiere. The great pirate era began here.
Reverse Mountain
Be warned: Reverse Mountain is where the dreams of pirates are crushed before they even begin. This towering summit, where a river flows up the mountain, is one of four points where the North, South, East, and West Blues meet. A perilous environment for all who dare to sail, it’s where many have perished before reaching the Grand Line due to its treacherous currents and storms. So, of course our courageous Straw Hats would use this entrance!
We’re hoping this news means season 2 might be arriving early in 2026, rather than later. We’ll let you know when we find out!
